Exploring "Dry Ridge."

Questions were raised.

Such as, when people call it "Dry Ridge", is that an example of "dry wit"?

Questions were answered.

It's darn pretty. That sort of lush green, grey cliffs, hemlock grove kind of pretty. Also, if you think old barbed wire being absorbed into trees is sort of pretty, it's like that too.

We rambled.

Around (and around) on some property that the Green Mountain Club has purchased over the years in hopes of some day relocating the Long Trail off of roads and onto a footpath in the woods in the area south of Rte 15. Rambled doesn't mean "got lost". Not that we're admitting anyway.
