There are fourteen GMC Sections - in communities the length and breadth of Vermont, as well as in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Between all the Sections we have outdoor trips running pretty much every weekend of the year - check them out!

The main Green Mountain Club website is the place to learn about hiking in all of Vermont. They have detailed maps and guide books for sale, schedule of upcoming education workshops and events, and of course complete information on how you can join the club.

Most of our trails are in the Mansfield State Forest managed by the hardworking folks at Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation. They have an extensive website which is worth exploring.

Our neighbors in Stowe and on the Sterling Ridge.

Our trails are a part of two towns.

The Long Trail connects with, and follows for a short way, the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail.

And it never hurts to go down a rabbit hole . . .
